Sometimes that means simply seeing—and saying—what’s right in front of us. In late 2017 while out for my morning run, I mentally tossed around various programs and policy ideas, all with merit, that were unable to function by themselves. This got me to wondering: “What would happen if we were to combine the best of these programs into a single economic model?” It’s in this vein that I share SeaChange. As many of us are considering what future we can help bring forth, I humbly offer this practical—albeit bold—pressure-tested set of policies. My aim with this proposal is for broad adoption and iteration by change-makers across the spectrum.
